Pai Gow: History

Pai Gow is an ancient tile or domino game from Asia. Roughly translated, Pai Gow means "make nine" in Cantonese. It is described as the hardest casino game to learn, because while the actual gameplay is simple, the ranking system is quite involved.

Pai Gow On TV

Pai Gow was even featured in the television show "Kung Fu: The Legend Continues". The episode called "Pai Gow" aired on March 1, 1993. In this episode Caine and Peter went undercover to investigate the murders of players in a high-stakes Pai Gow game. It also revealed that Caine had at some stage been a Pai Gow dealer.
